I joined Severotisk eleven years ago, a rookie in the industry. I went through the production and paper storage jobs. Currently, I work as a purchasing officer in charge of paper procurement for the company production. I am happy that I’ve been given this opportunity for professional growth and personal development.

My name is Petra Paurová and I joined Severotisk eleven years ago. I first worked as an assistant worker and now it’s my second year as a production operator at the PRINT department. I’m responsible for a smooth transfer of the production output onto pallets, as well as checking the quality of the product. Even though I am the only woman on our team, my colleagues respect me and value the experience I gained through my previous positions with the company. I found a great team of people here; we appreciate and support each other.

I learned about a vacancy in Severotisk by chance from my friend who has now been working here for over fifteen years. I work as a foreman, leading a team in the paper warehouse. I am responsible for all the activities to do with the storage and handling of paper. I try to lead my people by example – I am there for them to give advice, listen to them and help them deal with and overcome problems. I have a stable job which makes a healthy life-work balance possible, and that’s what really counts with me.

I have been working in Severotisk for twelve years as a master printer. I am responsible for smooth order processing and setting the parameters on the machine according to the technological standard. My job is multi-faceted because as a machine crew leader, I’m also responsible for my people. This involves being a boss, friend and psychologist in one. I try to be fair and support my colleagues as much as possible. I found a great job which gives me a sense of purpose, fulfillment in my career, and I made many friends here. I really enjoy working for a company that has the latest technology to be found in Europe!
